NSW Harmony Nines 2026: Our Teams Are Taking Shape
A few weeks ago, we put the call out to our community: who wants to represent the Philippines at the 2026 Harmony Nines?
The response meant a lot.
Players from across our age groups put their hands up for the opportunity to wear the jersey, represent their heritage and be part of what we’re building at Pilipinas Australian Rugby League.
Now, our teams are starting to take shape.
U18 Boys & Open Men - We’re In
Our U18 Boys and Open Men squads are confirmed for Harmony Nines.
Congratulations to everyone who made the squad. The work starts now.
Coaches will be in touch shortly with training schedules and everything you need to know as we prepare for October.
U16 Boys - One More Push
We’re close, but we need more players.
We’ve been given a short extension to finalise our U16 Boys squad, giving us one last opportunity to get this team onto the field.
If you know an eligible player who would be proud to represent the Philippines, send them our way. Email pilipinas.ausinc@gmail.com or Contact Coach Pat 0451 076 082
The final decision will be made on 21 August based on numbers.
Let’s get these boys a team.
To Our Women & Girls
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get enough numbers together for our U16 Girls, U18 Girls and Open Women teams in time for Harmony Nines. We know that’s disappointing, especially for the players who were ready to pull on the jersey.
But this isn’t where the opportunity ends.
We’re working towards more games in October, and Coach Isaac Rosario will be in touch with players as those opportunities take shape.
We want to keep building our women’s pathway and every player who puts their hand up helps us get closer.
Making Representative Footy More Accessible
For this representative season, PARL has also reduced player fees:
New players - $250
Returning 2025 players - $100
Payment details will be shared soon.
Our goal is simple: keep creating opportunities for Filipino players to play, compete and represent their heritage without cost becoming a bigger barrier than it needs to be.
To every player, parent, coach, volunteer and supporter helping us build these teams - thank you.
Harmony Nines is one tournament, but what we’re building together is much bigger.
See you on the field.
